Prinzessinnengarten – meeting Marco Clausen and Andreas Unteidig

On Wednesday February 15 the third public conversation of the Switch On Mehringplatz program took place. The theme in discussion was “Activating Local Knowledge, and the invitees Marco Clausen and Andreas Unteidig have presented the exemplar multifarious experience of Prinzeesinnengarten in Kreuzberg, Berlin, and all the successive fallouts of the initiative, including the development of a fair entrepreneurial capacity, the networking with regional organic producers in the region, the experience of the Nachbarschaftsakademie and the connection with activist struggles in the city, and the collaboration with the MAZI project, developing digital tools for wifi local networking. The conversation was completed by the Urban Reconnaissance Lab #3 on Saturday the 18th, dedicated to the exploration of the “Spontaneous City”. We started from Prinzessinnengarten to lead an explorative walk back to Mehringplatz.
