PACT Foundation held pilot sessions with youngsters in the south of the country: one in a small urban area, Slatina, Olt district on November 9th & 23rd, and the second in a rural area, Balta village, in Gorj district on November 10th & 24th.

 

The training  – “Web surfers 2.0. The unseen face of the Internet“- was conducted during two face-to-face sessions. The first session focused on the concept of discrimination and forms of discrimination in general (November 9th-10th). The second session introduced the notion of hidden discrimination and shed light on the different forms of online discrimination (November 23rd-24th).

The ICUD Project

The ICUD Project aims to Creatively Unveil hidden forms of Discrimination on the Internet, especially on social network sites (sns) such as facebook, and provide practical tools to combat discrimination online. The six project partners will research on the internet different examples of discrimination, in order to create a methodology and creative material to combat it.
