The Fomentor Manual is a good practice guide for mentors and would-be mentors to use when advising young people wishing to enter the creative industries (CCIs).

The guide is a result of the Talent Matching Europe project, lead in Barcelona by CEPS Projectes Socials. The project did design, test and validate a new training programme and EQF-aligned standards of competency framework for Vocational Mentors that supports young disadvantaged people in Initial Vocational Education and Training (IVET) in Europe’s Creative and Cultural Industries (CCIs).

In order to achieve their goal, the project partners from 6 EU countries have in 2016 done a local and national study, including interviews and local events with professionals who work with young people. The result is an overview of the state of the CCIs in relation to mentoring and IVET in Italy, Spain, Croatia, Macedonia, Poland and England.

This two-year project is co-financed by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Commission and started in November 2015. It is lead by Collage Arts in London and will be implemented by partners in 6 EU countries (Italy, Croatia, Spain, Macedonia, UK and Poland).
