For the third time in 10 years, the French government calculated the economic cost of partner violence. The ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Women’s Rights and the Secretary of State for Women’s Rights, assisted by PSYTEL, estimated that such violence have cost 3,6 billion euros in 2012. It includes violence committed against women and men, as well as its consequences on children, in a domestic context.
