The Peruvian NGO Vida Mujer created and released the moving book “Do not die for me”, revealing the cruel reality of domestic violence.
It is divided into two parts: one white and the other black.
The first one, the white one, features 25 letters, text messages and emails written by abusive men to their wives and girlfriends to ask them forgiveness. The black one reveals what happened next, when the women trusted them and accepted them back. In all of the cases, men abused them again, leaving them incapacitated, abused, raped or dead.
